I am sure every one of us wishes that the people of Ukraine
could wake up this morning and have life, liberty
and the pursuit of happiness.
Instead of terror and death,
being mercilessly bombed by a madman.
We are well aware of the stark contrast
between their lives and ours.
We are not living their nightmare.
We are free.
But, being free, why are so many of us so unhappy?
Is there a dimension of our freedom we have yet to build?
Yes, there is.
And I believe we can build it.
We can build it together.
As we build our full freedom
we will become far more capable
of standing up to dictators on all levels.
As we get stronger
we will become more and more able
to prevent forces of destruction
from taking control
of any aspect of our precious lives.
This is how we will honor the courageous people of Ukraine.
By building freedom.
The full freedom we want all people in the world to have.
So let us look at what it takes to be fully free.
